Next month, Breathless Press is releasing some free reads for their birthday celebration. My short story Morning Star will be one of those stories.

Morning Star was inspired by something that once happened to my friend Mark. He told me the basic story. I just filled in some of the details.

I had fun with some of the symbolism surrounding the morning star. More than one culture and multiple meanings of the phrase morning star are employed. See if you recognize them all.
