AF started off as a short story. My beta readers wanted to see some areas expanded. Then my editor wanted to see others expanded. And I kept finding areas I wanted to expand upon as well. Alexios is very much that child who has been raised by his village, a somewhat small but very cyber village.
Today I let go of his hand and send him out into the world, no longer just my child. It feels a bit like the first time I put my own children on the bus and sent them off to school. I hope everyone likes him and treats him well.
