I enjoy reading it as much as m/f and f/f because we're all people and everyone deserves love and great sex!Kellie Kamrynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14128538194212450324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933286923984180279.post-66244039765452834532011-07-25T19:50:16.762-05:002011-07-25T19:50:16.762-05:00Hi Alison and Rebecca!

I don't want to read about catching a man, marrying him and being proud to populate the world with his offspring. I'm not that type of person. I have to be doing things and I want my characters to be doing things.

Thanks for coming by and commenting. Love seeing you both.Kayla Jamethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12036672577522211978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933286923984180279.post-35566362828109012102011-07-25T11:07:20.819-05:002011-07-25T11:07:20.819-05:00totally agree with everything you've said, esp...totally agree with everything you've said, especially the that it touched something inside and hasn't let go!Rebecca Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15785017927764931012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1933286923984180279.post-57836837062852022222011-07-25T08:49:25.053-05:002011-07-25T08:49:25.053-05:00Good article, Kayla. I'm glad you didn't restrict your comments to m/m romance as sometimes the relationship transcends the traditional concept of "romance" to something much deeper.

I also liked the way you mention the large range of characters. More and more lately, I'm disturbed by readers who pan books because the characters are unlikeable, instead of seeing them as people with all their warts and insecurities. Of course their relationships aren't going to be storybook, but seeing even these problem characters finding love and a relationship with someone who understands and accepts them is much more fulfilling to me than yet another hunky, loveable guy finding romance.

Most of all I hope you continue to write the stories you want to write about the characters that live for you. That's the main thing.A.B.Gaylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02631009081489655875noreply@blogger.com
